Flexible single core wiring for campervans/motorhomes

A robust thick-walled cable suitable for use in wiring lighting USBs and other low current applications

  • Miniumum of 300V insulation.
  • Multistrand cables with high flexibility
  • Supplied in continuous lengths up to 100M (e.g. length 20M, quantity 5).
  • Suitable for use in 12V (ELV) applications only. Not suitable for mains voltage.

Description

When selecting the cabling required for running an appliance or lighting, you should use a voltage drop calculator to make sure the voltage drop is less than 0.8V.

Voltage drop figures (mV/A/M)

1.0mm2 - 22

1.5mm2 - 15

2.5mm2 - 9.1

As a rule of thumb we tend to use 1.5mm for USB ports up to 5M in length, and 1.0mm for 4 x LEDs up to 13M in length.
